Connected TV Summit 2016 Attendance

Last week, Emi Garcia and Ian Nock of Fairmile West attended the 5th Connected TV Summit in London – https://connectedtvsummit.com/

Awards EventA great event with many insights into the developing connected tv industry, which is very different from what the event launched into in 2011. Back then the focus was on the introduction of Smart TVs, but the industry has now evolved to include all connected devices as part of that Connected TV moniker. A major part of the event was the recognition given to industry leading services and products across many categories, something that is a clear barometer of the industry and this year was no different. The awards given at the event can be found here https://connectedtvsummit.com/the-videonet-connected-tv-awards-winners-2016/

StageSessionIan Nock was in attendance, not only to learn but as part of that judging panel and also to take an active part in awarding the prizes at the event. We would like to congratulate the winners of each category, as they do represent the next steps in TV services and products that are making the difference. We would also congratulation the commended award receivers, as the competition was extremely strong amongst a varied and fantastic array of entrants.

The most enjoyable aspect of this was finally meeting the people behind the many products and services that he spent hours reviewing back in January. Some of our esteemed clients and associates were also in attendance and took active roles in the event.
