As part of his work with the Institution of Engineering Technology, Ian Nock hosted a webinar of experts to discuss the evolution of device security. It was part of its ‘Field Notes Series on Security’.
The session focused on how today the industry of video entertainment has moved from protections based on proprietary and obscure software and hardware solutions, towards solutions driven by some the biggest technical players of Microsoft, Google and Apple, as well as broad usage of trusted execution environments and new approaches to service aggregation.
